About Wanaka Homestead

The Homestead is a new Wanaka lodge, located just 200m from the shores of Lake Wanaka.

 

This friendly Wanaka lodge has five guest bedrooms, a guest lounge, log fires, under-the-stars hot tub and spacious comfortable ensuite bedrooms with super king or twin beds.

Purpose-built with all the comforts of modern living in mind, but with sensitivity to traditional styles, this Wanaka lodge radiates warmth and character.

Wanaka Homestead Rooms

The lodge offers informal sophistication in five spacious super-king or twin bedrooms.

 

Each guest bedroom has ensuite facilities, fine linen, telephone, writing desk and other special touches designed to make you feel at home.

The point of difference for the "master" bedroom is a huge California king bed and double showers and basins.

Awaken to coffee aromas and a delicious continental and/or cooked breakfast prepared by your friendly hosts.

The comfortable guest lounge is yours to enjoy and by evening is the ideal place to sample a complimentary local wine or beer by the roaring log fire of this friendly little Wanaka lodge.

Wanaka Homestead Location

Within walking distance you'll find great cafes and restaurants in Wanaka's vibrant township.

 

For skiing accommodation Wanaka Homestead is ideally located for easy access to Cardrona, Treble Cone and The Snow Farm ski areas, and a pleasant one hour drive from Queenstown airport.

Within metres of the accommodation Wanaka Station Park dominates the landscape.

Once home to Wanaka's original Homestead (New Zealand term for "farmhouse"), the lawns and towering redwoods beckon you down to the glistening lake, and seemingly endless walking tracks begin.
