Welcome to the Shakespeare Brewery & Hotel which is New Zealand's first Brewpub and 10 room hotel, situated in a prime location on the corner of Wyndam & Albert Street in central Auckland.
This 100yr old English style pub offers great food and hand crafted beers (brewed on site that will impress even the most ardent beer drinker) along with hotel accommodation in central Auckland.
The Shakespeare is carrying on a tradition of fine hospitality which began more than a century ago. It was established in 1898 by Thomas Foley, who was born in the old Shakespeare Hotel owned by his parents in Wyndam Street.

Ben Middlemiss has flavourful pale ale called the "Dogberry" which is worth a visit to the Shakespeare. We also have a wheat beer on the way which is flavoured with coriander and orange peel.
