Maple Lodge is a modern, architecturally designed unique place to stay in Wanaka. Designed to emulate a cluster of buildings from the outside - the inside transforms into a beautiful modern home and guest experience.
Guest suites are in a separate wing of the property, with guest entrance. Facilities also include an exclusive guest lounge and dining room. The owner's residence is in part of the property but completely separated from guests.
Have breakfast in the guest dining room or on warm mornings enjoy breakfast in the sunken courtyard. We will be on hand to answer any questions and help you with any local information that you may need for the day.
The lounge/dining room created out of Central Otago schist has a high vaulted ceiling, air–conditioning and is decorated with old farming implements. A wood burner housed in a schist fireplace provides the ambience of a real fire in the winter. The lounge is furnished with leather suites, oriental rugs together with flat screen TV, DVD and CD player and broadband internet access.
Guest suites
Each of the seven guest suites has been individually styled creating a unique experience for you, our guests. Five suites have king size beds with two further suites having super king/twins. All beds are dressed with high quality bed linen. All suites have views toward the surrounding mountains including Mount Iron, Black Peak, Roy's Peak, Mount Gold, Mount Maude.
Each suite is heated with a heat pump/air conditioner to cater for guests individual preferences in heating and cooling and opens directly onto its own private patio or balcony.

Warmer days and spectacular scenery – enjoy Wanaka in the spring. With some of world's best tramping and fishing areas nearby. Maple lodge is the perfect base for your spring walking/sightseeing break in the Wanaka area. We can set you up with a packed lunch for your day out. Afterwards relax in the spa and take in the awesome stars in the clear night sky.
Summer
Boating, water skiing, diving – all things water. Lake Wanaka is the perfect place to spend the summer. Relax by the lake or in the grounds at Maple Lodge – the choice is yours. Enjoy breakfast on the sunken courtyard to set you up for your day sightseeing, tramping or out on the lake. Want to bring your own boat? No problem – Maple Lodge has plenty of space to park your trailer boat while you stay.
Autumn
Wanaka… world renowned for its autumn colours. Experience the autumn colours first hand in Maple Lodge's 7–acre maple plantation planted with over 100 sugar maple trees. Photography at its best in this time of year – download your pics to CD on the guest PC.
Winter
The winter season is upon us and with Maple Lodge being located within 25 minutes of the 4 main snow sports areas of Treble Cone, Cardrona, Snow Farm and Snow Park we are the ideal base for your winter break.
Be warm and snug at Maple Lodge. All guest suites are air conditioned with luxurious duvets, spare blankets and if required, electric blankets. A drying room is available for guests ski gear.
After a hard day on the slopes enjoy afternoon tea by the real wood fire and share stories of the day with friends. Ease those aching muscles in the spa and then a glass of beer or wine before enjoying one of Wanaka's fine restaurants.
