About Waimate Hotel
The Waimate Hotel is about 100 years old and is at the centre of the Manaia community. It is a place where people come to relax and catch up with friends & acquaintances.
In the main bar we have a pool table, 2 dart boards and a juke box. We have a smaller lounge bar which is suitable for medium sized social occasions like family get–together etc... and we have the restaurant which seats approx 40 so is suited for larger groups wanting a meal.
We are happy to provide catering whether it be a buffet or set menu, small or large.

The guest accomodation it upstairs along with a guest lounge and dining room suited to breakfast.
There are two rooms with double beds and wash basins, four rooms each with two single beds and four rooms with one single bed only.
The rooms are clean & tidy and there are shared bathroom facilities.

We have successfully hosted golfing weekends as Taranaki has several very picturesque courses and afterwards the players come back here for a hearty meal and a few ales without having to worry about drinking & driving. We also provide a courtesy van by arrangement.
We are also able to acommodate caravans & mobile homes as there are hotpoints available and a large area for parking
