About Hari Hari Motor Inn
Hari Hari is situated half way between Hokitika and Franz Josef Glacier and is an ideal place to stop and enjoy the rainforest walkways and the fantastic scenery of South Westland.
We have 40 studio hotel rooms, bar and bistro and our breakfast room looks out to the north east and the surrounding mountains.

Take time to visit the Guy Menzies Memorial which was erected to honour the first Trans Tasman flight in 1931.
Scenic Lake Ianthe is 10 minutes drive to the north. Take time out and visit the White Heron (kotuku) Colony 30 minutes south of Hari Hari with the first tour of the day leaving at 9.00am during the season ( November – May).
Enjoy the Wanganui Coastal Packtrack walkway which takes visitors out to the Tasman Sea and a great place to view the surrounding alps and rocky coastline.
