The Colonial Lodge Motel offers luxury studios or one bedroom accommodation on the shores of Lake Taupo. It is the ideal place to stay for corporate or executive guests. Located close to Taupo city and all local attractions and activities.
Colonial Lodge Motel Rooms
All suites are non smoking. They are designed and fitted to the highest standard and are serviced daily. We have 8 studio suites that sleep 3 people (some interconnecting) and 4 one bedroom family suites that sleep 2–5 people. All rooms have a fully equipped kitchen, double spa bath, seperate shower, Sky TV, telephone and internet access, heating, electric blankets, breakfast available on request, ironing facilities and a laundry available on premises.
Colonial Lodge Motel Location
When traveling from the North, come right into Taupo over the bridge and then turn right at the roundabout follow the road, straight ahead at the traffic lights, then continue round right along the lake front (Lake Terrace). Travel along there and on the left hand side not far from 'Taharepa Rd' The Colonial Lodge Motel is on your left hand side.
When traveling from the South continue into Taupo past the big Mobil Station and State Highway 5 intersection on your right, then along Lake Terrace, you will notice 'Taharepa Rd' on your right hand side then 'Sails' and Colonial Lodge Motel is just past them on your right hand side
