Mosgiel is situated 12 Kilometres (10 minutes) south- west of Dunedin. And 12 Kilometres to Dunedin International airport (10 Minutes) – We are the closest Motel to Dunedin Airport

Just over saddle hill and off the southern motorway, at the head of the Taieri plains.

Once known for its woollen mill, it is now a place popular with those seeking the quieter pace of country life while still being close to the attractions of Dunedin City.

Mosgiel is the closest town to, and services the Dunedin International Airport as well as the Taieri Airfield.

Mosgiel today is mainly agricultural, forestry and small industry based, it is also home to Agresearch (Invermay Agricultural centre)

Mosgiel today is a thriving town; there are great shops and an excellent range of restaurants. The scenic Taieri River valley is on Mosgiel's doorstep. The Taieri Gorge Railway train trip (regarded as one of the world's finest rail journeys) turns off the main trunk line at Wingatui station, which is close to Mosgiel and a good quiet place to embark or disembark (plenty of parking) this popular scenic Train ride. Other attractions are:
