Hokitika is the perfect town to base yourself during your stay on the West Coast as it is, only 3 hours drive from Christchurch, 90 minutes from the Franz Josef Glacier and 60 minutes from Punakaiki's Pancake Rocks.  We also have easy access to local attractions such as Shantytown and Monteith's Brewery.

Beachfront Hotel Hokitika's unique location on the shores of the Tasman Sea and in the centre of Hokitika means you have the beach and artisan galleries right at your doorstep.  We offer a wonderful location for West Coast accommodation. An on site restaurant overlooking hte beach, cafe, bar and function rooms complete your experience.

Beachfront Hotel Hokitika Rooms

We offer a variety of accommodation in two very different wings. Our luxury Ocean View Wing is just steps from the beach.  The wing was designed so every room has a dramatic view of the ocean and the sunset can be enjoyed from your courtyard or balcony.  Our Driftwood Wing offers basic, but comfortable accommodation on a main street of town.  Please note Driftwood rooms do not have an ocean view. Both wings have ready access to Hokitika's vibrant arts and crafts shopping centre and the beach. 

Beachfront Hotel Hokitika Location

We are on the beachfront in Hokitika at 111 Revell Street. From Fitzherbert Street (State Highway 6), turn towards town centre at the Weld Street roundabout and follow Weld Street until you meet the intersection of Revell Street. Turn right and the Beachfront Hotel is on the left hand side. Parking is available here.
